POSITION SUMMARY:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
36. Reduce waste materials and supplies by adhering to the Company’s guideline on re-using and recycling.
37. Conserve water and energy when possible.
38. To report for duty punctually adhering to the set procedures for attendance and timekeeping.
39. Adhere to the established uniform, grooming, and specified hygiene and personal appearance standards.
40. Maintain the highest standard of professionalism, ethics, and attitude towards guests and colleagues.
41. Look out for any person behaving in a suspicious manner and inform security accordingly.
42. Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and/or security issues to the management.
43. To be aware of panic alarms installed inside Saunas, Steam Rooms, and Jacuzzi’s in both men’s and ladies locker-rooms and or treatment rooms.
44. To attend to all accident cases that occurred in the Health Club and/or Spa and exercise proper first aid if necessary to alleviate guest discomfort.
45. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.

The Receptionist, Health Club & Pool is responsible for efficiently assisting in the daily operations of the Health Club & Pool in accordance with the standards set by the Company and the department to meet the needs and demands of in-house guests, visitors and hotel management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Identify return guests and VIPs.
2. Meet the requirements of both local and international VIP guests, demonstrating an appreciation of cultural diversity.
3. Ensure that each guest contact session is a delightful experience to the guest.
4. Ensure that you keep up to date with current trends, guest satisfaction and training in the market.
5. Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the Health club.
6. Prepare fresh and clean massage rooms for all Spa guest
7. Ensure completeness of amenities in massage rooms
8. Perform daily pre-opening/ closing cleaning maintenance schedule
9. Complete cleaning maintenance checklist daily
10. Check the appointment book to organize and set up for all of their treatments.
11. Help in maintaining the quality standards of the Department.
12. Consistent in the delivery of service.
13. Ensure that guests of the Health Club & Pool follow the rules and safety regulations stipulated by the Company and laws of the country and the city.
14. Under no circumstances, to solicit or request gratuities in the form of tips or payment in kind.
15. Assist guests and visitors with purchases from the Spa reception counter. This includes adhering to cash handling, opening and closing policies and procedures and ensuring charges are correctly administered to the guest account.
16. Make decisions at the guest contact point to delight the guest without foregoing safety.
17. Maintain daily records of purchases and provide regular summary.
18. Provide assistance to guests / visitors with towels, lockers, and hotel amenities.
19. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
20. Convey verbal messages to guests and visitors in the most discreet manner ensuring confidentiality is maintained so as not to disturb peace and quiet of other guests.
21. Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the Health Club according to five star standards ensuring retail products are displayed appropriately and all racks and shelves are neat and orderly.
22. Inventory tracking and control - properly administer all loan items: shorts, t-shirts, and towels.
23. Report all maintenance faults and defects in the Health Club.
24. Create magic moments for customers from point of entry and perform upselling techniques for treatments as well as retail products to maximize sales and revenue.
25. Effectively attend to customers’ concerns by establishing each customer's needs and trying to meet their requests provided by the Company.
26. Attend to guests’ queries on Health Club & Pool services and products.
27. Implement and maintain an effective system for filing documents.
28. Assist in establishing guest flow processes which will deliver the best possible guest experience and capitalize on revenue opportunities.
29. Perform monthly stock check and raise purchase order and action plan for selling the slow-moving retail items accordingly.
30. Work closely with Engineering Department and ensure the Spa front and heart of house facilities including the fitness areas achieve the highest possible conditions.
31. Work closely with EVS and Housekeeping Department and ensure the Spa front and heart of house facilities including the fitness areas achieve the highest possible conditions and cleanliness.
32. Attend meetings as required including scheduled training and participates in company-initiated employee activities.
33. Fully aware of and comply with Lost and Found procedures at all times
34. Identify and implements best practices both in the overall Health Club & Pool operation as well as throughout the hotel.

QUALIFICATIONS:
I. Experience
1. Minimum 1 year working experience in a Day Spa, luxury Hotel Spa, and / or beauty operations with sound knowledge and understanding of the business is preferred.
2. International Spa experience is an advantage.
3. Has good personal knowledge of all body and spa products, and able to use the products appropriately.

College Level Diploma / Certificate of any course.
